"If you've been following along with Trupo for awhile, you already know we've had a journey. And somehow, just when we thought we'd seen it all... life handed us one more plot twist. So here we are, doing what we do best - being honest, a little self-deprecating, and trying to make the best chocolate decisions we can with the cards we've been dealt.

While this batch of wafer bars have best-by dates of September and October 2026, a portion of the bars are stale, and many also have cosmetic imperfections. Unfortunately, it's impossible for us to tell which individual bars are affected until they're tasted, but you will likely receive some stale wafer bars.

Because we don't own our manufacturing facilities, we often don't have the leverage to get refunds or replacements when things go wrong. This time is no different - our manufacturer isn't willing to make things right, which puts us in a tough spot.

The bigger picture - and why your support matters so much: The past few years have been... brutal. The market has changed. Costs have exploded. Wars, tariffs, shipping chaos, and intense competition have reshaped this industry in ways we never could have predicted. We're watching so many of our favourite vegan brands, shops and restaurants disappear, and staying alive in this space has become incredibly difficult. Although we are cautiously hopeful about getting back to our original vision, getting there means surviving right now, and that's where your support means everything."

...Following onto this, at Little Vegan Treats, we find ourself now in the same position, of holding thousands of Mega Snaps in inventory, with no recourse. Recently, we were offering one free bar for each bar purchased, but that will create an inventory issue at some point, so we are now discontinuing that and taking the final course of action. We can't face the idea of destroying all these (mostly delicious) wafer bars (again - IYKYK!!), and can't offer refunds on endless product, so we are selling them below cost, at a final sale. We will not be including extras in orders, starting Jan 31/26, and the Mega Snaps continue to be at final sale, even if your case contains stale/imperfect bars. Please note, we have also discovered occasional bars that were improperly sealed at point of manufacture, so almost certainly there will be a limited amount of these within some of the cases we ship.
